Stay green

There are many things people these days do that are wasteful, and yet they don't even realize it! There are many things people can do to help save energy.

 These include:

1. When you leave a room in your house be sure to turn off the lights. Don't leave them burning, turn them off! This can also save you money on the electricity bill, as well as slowing down global warming.

2. What website does the entire world use, to do almost everything? That's right, Google. It turns out that google is wasting electricity with the white backround. Instead switch to Blackle, which is the same program, but with a black backround, so the computer dosn't have to generate any white. 

3. Turn off the appliances that you are not using. These include computers, TV, video games, and stereos when you're done with them. When you are gone, they are do no good being on, so turn them off and think green.

Are you worried about global warming? Well, you should be, because global warming has become a big threat in our world. Do you know why global warming is even afllicting us? It's because the whole population is releasing greenhouse gases, including carbon dioxide, methane, and water vapor. 

Is global warming real? All scientists agree that the possibility does exist. The real argument is, do humans have anything to do with it? This site's firm beleif is that humans ARE partially at fault for supposed global warming. Even if we are not, what harm can going green cause? You save money on bills, pay less for gas, and save our non-renewable resources. If there is anything bad about that, please tell us in our forum.

Well, at the start of a new year in JH Robotics, we're getting ready to begin work on this year's projects. We've assembled the tables for the missions already, and are awaiting the announcement on Friday. We're going to have a big party. Yay. We have one new coach, and this year are focusing on the research project (the reason for this site) a lot more than last year (but not at the sake of the robot's performance). We really hope to do better this year, so please give us a shout for support in the Guestbook!
